Blocks and Stones
Back to Main Category There are two types of block paving manufactured in similar sizes. The concrete block is made by pouring concrete into a mould, while the brick is kiln fired. Both types are available in a range of thicknesses from 40 mm to 100 mm. For domestic use it is the 40 mm to 60 mm which are the most suitable. For road and footpath construction 80 mm thick units are used while 100mm thick blocks are used for exceptional loads such as handling heavy traffic to ports and airports and truck yards.
