Liquid Latex rubber is a water based, naturally occurring product. It is one of the simpler materials with which to make a flexible mould. Its ability to reproduce detailed surfaces is very good and the shrinkage is low. You apply latex bybrushing one coat on at a time over the model, allowing each coat to dry before applying another. Full instructions are available formaking a mould with latex.
We recommend that all models with fine detail or undercuts be covered with #70 Latex for the first 3 or 4 coats to pick up the detail followed by 4 to 8 coats of #72 pre-thickened latex tospeed up application, allowing drying between each coat of about one hour.
